What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We collect information from forms you fill in requesting us to contact you. This is used for the purpose of responding to your contact request. We will only contact you with News or Promotional Offers if you have selected this option by clicking on the Checkbox in the form, which then gives us permission to store your email address and name, in our contact database. If you provide your Phone number or Address or any other information, we will only retain this information if you become a client. This information will then be stored in our client database along with any other information you provide, which will be used solely to provide you with Treatments and Services which you request. Should you cease to be a client we can remove your information from our Client database, and if relevant your information can be removed from our Contact database too.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Should you cease to become a client this information can be removed at your request to us. Please send this request in writing in email to us.

How we protect your data
Your information is stored securely on our servers, or as required on our third-party booking system. Only staff will have access to the most basic level of information, in order to provide you with Treatments or Services you may request. The business owner will have access to other information such as any addresses you provide, and this is for the purpose of billing and account requirements linked to Services or Treatments provided to you as a client.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In the event of a breach you will be notified immediately, and asked to change any relevant passwords linked to your account. Further requirements can be discussed individually with you should there be a data breach.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive data from SimplyBook.me as this is the Online Booking System we use to provide you with appointments in order for you to receive our Treatments and Services.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Any medical information you provide will be considered when deciding if a specific Treatment or Service is safe for you to receive. Should you wish to have a consultation, or purchase products from us, this medical information will be considered in recommending any Treatments, Products or Services to you. This information is not passed on to any other party who is not involved with providing you with the Services or Treatments or Products that you request, and is maintained as confidential information.
